NSS unit of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science organized a one day cleaning work at Madukkarai Railway Junction, recently. More than 20 volunteering students of the college’s NSS unit participated in the cleaning work from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. under the guidance of K.Suresh, NSS Coordinator and Vinoth Kumar, Supervisor of Madukkarai Railway Junction. The students cleaned the bushes and removed the plastic wastes in and around the premises of Madukkarai Railway Junction and the vehicle parking area. The programme was successful in the accomplishment of its mission for the day.
