Personal Discipline can stop AIDS – P. Baby Shakila, Principal, SKASC.

Recently, “INTERNATIONAL AIDS DAY” was observed at Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore. About 3000 students stood like a red ribbon symbol and created awareness about this disease. The program was presided over by P. Baby Shakila, Principal, SKASC.

Addressing the students, she said that AIDS is a disease which is voluntarily contracted by people due to wrong sexual contacts with the unknown partners. The menace of disease has been gradually controlled through vigorous campaigning programme by the government and NGOs. 1st December is celebrated every year as International AIDS day dedicated to raising awareness of AIDS among the public by various organizations across world.
