Indian Orthopedic Association and Ganga Hospitals with Uyir forum jointly conducted IOACON 2018 towards awareness on road safety measures. The substantial Marathon event held yesterday was a great success. The Marathon started from CODISSIA trade fair complex with around 2000 participants connecting college students, athletes, Orthopedic Doctors, corporate professionals, children and public.
The event was flagged off by F1 racer Narain Karthikeyan. Sujith Kumar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Controls.Dr. S. Rajasekaran, Organising Chairman, IOACON 2018 and Clinical Director of Ganga Hospitals, Dr.Mandeep Dhillon, IOA President, Dr.Atul Srivastava, IOA Secretary, Dr. S.Natesan and Dr. R. Muralidharan, Organising Secretaries, IOACON2018 graced the event.
Students of NGP Institutions Soniya, J. Kaviyarasi, V. Gokila won the first 3 places on the female category. Under male category, Kribakaran received the first position, Anand, in the second position, and Gowtham bagged the third position. Under the category of Orthopedic doctors Dr. Anudhaya Siddhartha, Dr. Umesh Yadav, Dr. Srinivasa Reddy won the titles respectively. Dr. Urmila Kurana won under the female orthopedic category.
