Dr.Rajasekhar

North American Spine Society (NASS) is an international multidisciplinary medical organization with 9000+ members from 67 countries, and along with The Spine Journal, it offers an award of USD 10,000 to recognize excellence in unpublished spine research.

A press release said that this paper speaks about post-operative pain relief for patients undergoing spine surgery in the neck. This is a double-blinded randomised control study performed to find out the efficacy of post-operative pain relief by a novel method of erector spinae plane block.  Post-operative pain is a huge concern for both surgeons and patients alike and this new technique will be highly efficient in providing good pain relief and making the patient very comfortable and mobile soon after the surgery.

Ganga has bagged the award for the fourth time since 2019. The authors of this research paper have been invited to present the same during the Annual Meeting of NASS on 13th October 2022 in Chicago, USA.
