Hindusthan students’ idea receives appreciation from Chief Minister

Among several thousand ideas and projects presented by various educational institutions from Tamil Nadu at an event, the idea by students of Hindusthan College of Engineering & Technology (HiCET) was considered the best among Top 5.

All India Manufacturers Organisation in association with Anna University and Consortium of Indian Associations, Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Medical colleges conducted an event called Techknow 2022.

The primary objective of this event was to source employable engineers. 7000+ ideas and projects by various institutions were submitted. Students of HiCET submitted 280+ projects and 5 teams were selected among top 25 ideas for Finals of Techknow.

“One team comprising of students namely Mohitsabhareesh GP and Balamurugan R of Aeronautical Engineering of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology were selected among best 5 ideas and received the award from Chief Minister M K Stalin on 23rd April 2022 at Vivekananda Auditorium, Anna University. Letters were issued to students under ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ Scheme,” a press release said.

Hindusthan Educational Institutions Managing Trustee Sarasuwathi Khannaiyann, Secretary Madam Priya Satish Prabhu, Chief Executive Office K.Karunakaran, HiCET, Principal J.Jaya and Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering V.T.Gopinathan appreciates the students’ achievements.
