To increase awareness about the important roles that innovation and creativity play in every aspect of human development, World Innovation and Creativity Day is celebrated in April.
Celebrating this day, D.J. Academy for Managerial Excellence organized a one-day workshop on Creativity and Design. It was conducted by the faculties of DJ Academy of Design (DJAD) recently.
Prof.Atul Kedia – Dean, DJAD interacted with the students about the importance of design and how creatively brands define solution to their product functioning with classic examples.
Prof.Archana Anantharaman– Faculty DJAD initiated the workshop with her presentation on design thinking with an activity, followed by a presentation on Visual Design by Prof.Mrudul Mankame–Faculty DJAD.
The students of DJAME were formed into groups and given the task to figure out a solution for one theme out of Finance, Education, Energy & Environment and Healthcare. Each Group started brainstorming their thoughts, empathised on the issue faced in the theme they selected, ideated a solution for it in an artwork which was followed by group presentations and a feedback session.
