Some students have fear about Mathematics. They don’t have to. Once a student knows the formulae, the subject becomes easy. In fact, it will appear like the easiest of all subjects, expressed Pazhaniswami, District Science Officer (DSO), Regional Science Centre, Coimbatore at Sri Krishna Arts and Science.

He said this at the National Mathematics Day event organized by Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC), National Council for Science and Technology, Communication, New Delhi, Tamil Nadu State Council For Science and Technology.

The DSO emphasized that students should be nourished with mathematical skills from their childhood, and unnecessary fears about it should be removed from their tender minds. Young students should be involved in research from the start of their academic pursuit, and they should aim to get a Nobel Prize.

The other special guest of the event B.Nagarajan, Scientist – F, Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), Coimbatore said that this is the right time to plan for excelling in the field of Mathematics and Science. It is the need of the hour to understand the importance of Math.

V.Jayanthi, Head of the Department of Mathematics welcomed the gathering, P.Baby Shakila, Principal of the college delivered the presidential address. C.Sunitha, Head of the Department of Software Systems and Computer Sciences formally expressed her gratitude.
