At the 34th Convocation ceremony of The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, three students from PSG Institute of Medical Science & Research won prestigious medals.
Dr.Balachandar, a graduate of MBBS 2015 batch won the Tamilnadu & Pondicherry Chapter, IAPM Endowment Gold Medal, The Madras University Students Club Endowment Prize & Dr CKP Menon’s University Cash Prize.
Dr Praneetha, a graduate of MBBS 2015 batch won the TMT.Rajam Govindarajulu Memorial Endowment Gold medal for Lady Candidate for securing I Rank in girls for an aggregate of all 4 years & Dr Ambika Shanmugam Endowment Gold Medal for securing I Rank in Biochemistry.
Dr Paskin D Souza, a Postgraduate from the Department of Microbiology, received the TN Dr MGR Medical University Gold Medal for having secured the highest marks in Microbiology in the University PG Degree Examination.
The award were handed over by the Governor of Tamil Nadu Ravi in the presence of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.K. Stalin, the Pro-Chancellor & Minister for Medical & Family Welfare Ma.Subramanian, the Minister for Higher Education K.Ponmudi, Dr J Radha Krishnan, Secretary for Health and Family Welfare and the Vice-Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Dr. Sudha Seshayyan.
