Gender Sensitization Program at SNMV CAS

He was addressing the students of Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science at a Gender Sensitization Programme titled, ‘Self-Vigilance’, recently.

A press release from the college mentioned that through his address, he also created a legal awareness among the student community on the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences – POCSO Act and the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

Following this, Latha Sundaram, Founder & Managing Trustee, Aram Foundation Charitable Trust, Coimbatore guided the female students to always be vigilant in the society they face. She also instructed them to be wary of those who try to misbehave taking advantage of the circumstances and also counselled them to learn to say “NO” in places where it demands.
