Next 2 Months will be challenging for the Health Sector – Health Secretary

Health Secretary Radhakrishnan has sent a letter to the district collectors saying that the next 2 months will be challenging and focus on disease control.

In a letter, the Health Secretary said, “Diseases including dengue are more likely to spread during the monsoon and winter seasons. Thus the government is urging the people to be vigilant.”

“Dengue fever is spread by ADS female mosquitoes. In case of dengue fever, seek medical attention immediately. Failure to do so may result in death. Symptoms of dengue fever include eye pain, nausea, headache, vomiting, bone pain, psoriasis, joint pain, and fatigue.”

“People need to keep their surroundings clean to escape this disease. Mosquitoes need to be taken care of without production. Authorities must be prepared to control diseases that occur during the rainy season.”

“Proper attention should be paid to the task of controlling the corona as well. The next 2 months will be challenging for the health sector. Therefore, we have to focus on the prevention of the disease personally.”
