TNAU conducts Award Ceremony for Diploma in Agri Inputs and PG Diploma courses

Directorate of Open and Distance Learning, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University conducted award Ceremony for Diploma in Agri Inputs and PG Diploma course at TNAU, Coimbatore, recently.

N. Kumar, Vice-Chancellor in his presidential address emphasized the importance of Agro Inputs for Food Production, Food security as well as residue-free food production.

He also highlighted that the importance of appropriate dose and time of application of chemical inputs for
eco-friendly food production and sustainability of agriculture in Tamil Nadu as well as in India.

The key note address was delivered by  G. Krishnamohan Director & Country Head (Retd.), Eurofins Agro Science Services Pvt. Ltd. Bangaluru and Special address was delivered by  M. Ramanathan, Principal, PSG College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore. M. Ananthan, Director, Directorate of Open and Distance Learning briefed about the ODL programmes. In this function R. Santhi, Director, Natural Resource Management,  S. Sundareswaran,
Director (Seed Centre), TNAU also offered felicitation. Around 210 students were awarded.

Earlier, B. Anita, Professor welcomed the gathering and finally, K. Boomiraj proposed the vote of thanks.
