Master Mithun Pranav, a II Std students of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus has made an incredible win in the Tamil Nadu State Chess Online Under 8 Open Chess Championship- 2021 by clinching Gold, held on 31st August, 2021.
Pranav’s victory with a score 7.5/9 points in the event has qualified him to represent Tamil Nadu at National Under 8 Online Chess Championship that is scheduled between
10th September and 12th September 2021.
The championship was organized by Chennai District Chess Association which saw participation of players from all District Chess Association across the state. The School’s Management lauds Pranav’s tremendous feat and wishes him success in his chess career.
