A 120-page white paper on the assets and liabilities of Tamil Nadu will be released on August 9 by the State Government to give a clear picture of the finance management that took place in Tamil Nadu. The report will be released by TN Finance Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan. It will also underline the reasons for loss of revenue to the govt and financial burden in the State for the last decade.
What is White Paper?
Besides the reports from Media or State’s CM on the financial scenario of a State, this report will be an authentic report from the Government itself. It will feature transparent data and announce the precise financial situation in a comprehensive, crisp and clear manner. The White Paper will include exact details of the announcement, commencement and completion of government plans. The public and political parties can debate or discuss the details presented in the white paper. The government can also know the opinions of the public through this release.
