With the daily number of Covid cases rapidly increasing in the city, the City Corporation is taking steps to make the Hall D of CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex into a temporary Covid Treatment Center.
“As a precautionary measure to manage any possible serious situation, this measure is being taken”, said Ramesh Babu, President, CODISSIA. He added “the cleaning and sanitation works are going on. The beds and cots have arrived here at the Hall, and they are being assembled. The patients may be diverted to this facility from Monday onwards.”
He further said that the hall can accommodate roughly 400 people. As a social responsibility and for betterment of public in this region, CODISSIA has given the Hall.
This time, the City Corporation has requested the patients to admit themselves in hospitals than be in home isolation. Apart from CODISSIA’ Hall D, temporary Covid Treatment Centers will be established in other places in the district.
