TN Govt announces new corona restrictions !

The Government of Tamil Nadu has released many new restrictions on Thursday to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the State. The new restrictions come into effect from April 10, 2021.

The New Restrictions:

No Religious festivals and gatherings in places of worship should be held from April 10, 2021. People can offer worship till 8 p.m.

Passengers in Government and Private Buses should only travel by sitting when they travel from one district to another. No passenger in buses should stand and travel.

Only 50% customers are allowed inside grocery stores, and other places like malls, shops etc.

Industry workers all should wear masks inside the premises. Failing to do so will result in heavy actions. The management should take steps for its labors to get vaccinated.

Trade and Business centers can function till 11 p.m. with 50% customers

Hotels and Tea Shops should use only 50% seating till 11 p.m.

Auditorium, Entertainment and other public places can function with just 50% customers

Cinema Theaters should allow only 50% seating.

For wedding, only 100 people are allowed to participate, For Funerals only 50 persons are allowed to take part.

In Indoor-Auditoriums, on a maximum level, 200 persons are allowed to take part in Social, Political, Educational and Recreational events, following norms.

Sports related events can take place in auditorium without audience participation in the venue.

Swimming pools can function following proper guidelines and only those who need to train are allowed.

Cinema shooting can take place when all in the shoot produce covid-testing certificates.

Only 2 persons can travel in an auto, and 3 persons can travel in Taxi excluding driver.

E-Pass is mandatory for visitors from other States and Nations.
