Twilight in town

A theme with the mix of Road side Art effects, Drums, Lanterns, Corocotta pots, Mud pots, Hand grinding stone, Pam leaf dusters and Kadai, Poppys Hotel Coimbatore opened a New Outlet named ‘Twilight’ that functions at night.

Miss India Earth 2016-17 & Managing Director of Body Sculpting Therapy, Jaya Mahesh inaugurated the new outlet.

Street foods are the highlights of Twilight and the mixture of Hand ground masalas are used by the Chef in special recipe. The ambience is created in such a way to blend the street food favourite and village flavour. One can experience the taste, presentation and service in a busy street food cooked live in front of the guests.

‘To bring in the difference the gravy, vegetables, rice, biryanis are cooked in Mud pots and served in Mud pots. And Copper Dishes Doses, Karidosa, Appam are served under the banana leaf’, said R. Jayaraman, Operation Manager and Chef Rajas of the Poppys Hotel during on the occasion.

‘This authentic touch of “Old grand ma Cuisine” cooking with hand pound Masalas attract the health conscious people and not to forget our old tradition and fore fathers & Grand Mothers had left behind’, they added.

Tables have runners made of straw, adding more touch the service staffs are dressed in traditional Dhoti and Angavastram. Twilight also provides cutlery food and the customers are advised to eat using their fingers.

Exotic street foods for Vegetarian lovers like Kaima Kalan Urundai, Kulithalai Vazhai Poo Varuval, MakkaChozha VazhaiPoo Vadai and for Non-Vegetarian Lovers like Pollachi MasiMeen Puttu, KarruMukku Nandu, Kongu Errachi Urundai, Karuvepillai Erra and much are served.

With the feel of open air and live kitchen families and kids can have a complete meal from soup to dessert for Rs.1200 plus taxes. Open at 05.00 PM to 10.00 PM.
