Karpagam Academy of Higher Education held its eleventh Convocation on Friday. The academy awarded degrees to more than 2515 graduates, including 138 doctorates and 42 rank holders from various Engineering, Arts, Sciences, Humanities, Pharmacy and Architecture. The institution also recognized the best performances with special awards and distinctions.
Scintillating medals and awards were also a part of this event. The program attained its grandeur by conferring doctorates and gold medals for achieving academic excellence.
Laxman, National Joint Organizing Secretary, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad was the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the contribution of learned youth in the self-reliant India movement and even in the pandemic crisis.
He heaped praises on the institution for creating dynamic curriculum, quality teaching community, excellent placement, and aesthetic infrastructure. He also appreciated the President of Karpagam Institutions R. Vasanthakumar for his philanthropic activities.
Others present in the event were Krishnakumar, Chancellor, S. Sudalaimuthu, Vice-Chancellor, K. Murugaiah, CEO, M. Palaniswamy, Registrar, P. Palanivelu, Controller of Examinations, Managing Trustee and Board of Members, Deans and Faculty members were present on the occasion.
