Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science celebrated 72nd Republic Day on 26th January 2021 in the college premises.
The National Flag was hoisted by the President of CWA and SNMV, Ramesh C. Bafna. In his address, he recalled the British rule, during which Indians were treated like slaves.
He reminded everyone that we are breathing free air today because of the self-sacrifice and commitment of the Indian Freedom fighters.
Dr. B.Subramani, Principal, Welcomed the gathering. He admired, the Management Members for their dedication and for spending their valuable time on the campus.
Shri Sunil Kumar Nahata, Secretary of the college, offered his felicitations to all. Shri Mahaveer Bothra, Vise President, CWA and SNMV congratulated the institution for celebrating 72nd republic day even during the pandemic days.
Mr. S. Sivaprakash, Assistant Professor of Tamil, delivered a speech on the significance of Republic Day.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. T. P. Krishna Kumar, Director, SNMV Institute of Management Around 200 Staff members attended the programme.
