Students return to School with glee !

Schools across Tamil Nadu got reopened for classes X and XII on Tuesday, and they have been asked to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures given by the Tamil Nadu Government.

In Coimbatore, the students of various schools happily stepped inside their school campus after almost 10 months of absence.

The teachers and school officials are only allowing entry to students after ensuring they have worn masks, after checking their body temperature using thermal scanners. The students are then guided to use hand sanitizers.

Since this is the first day, the students are given orientation and counselling as they have come from a prolonged period of absence from regular classroom system. The counselling and guidance will continue tomorrow (Wednesday)

The reopening comes after parents in about 95% of the schools had asked for the resumption of physical classes. “Permission is being granted for allowing not more than 25 students in each classroom and by complying with the guidelines issued by the government. Hostels are also being allowed for those students,” Chief Minister Edapaddi K.Palaniswami said in a statement recently.
