The second day of Coimbatore Vizha featured helicopter rides for the frontline workers and virtual Coimbatore Heritage Tour. The ride commenced on Sunday from Ganga Nursing College campus, near Vattamalaypalayam, Thudiyalur.
A press release from the organizers Young Indians conveyed that hundreds of sanitary and frontline workers were taken for a helicopter ride, and the same will be done for others in the days to come.
In the virtual Coimbatore Heritage tour, renowned Historian Rajesh Govindarajulu highlighted the historic temples, heritage sites, oldest markets, beautiful lakes and much more.
Simultaneously other events such as Coimbatore Vizha Marathon, Vizha Cyclothon, Cricket Competition, Art Competition, Race track mania were held virtually. The press release mentioned that the events had overwhelming response from the public.
