Coimbatore Tablers offer 2 new classroom blocks to Govt School

The 8 Round Table associations in Coimbatore jointly inaugurated their Round Table India Week celebrations on Sunday, and have been continuously involved in undertaking acts of charity.

Recently on Thursday, Coimbatore North Round Table 20 and Coimbatore North Ladies Circle 11 along with PLMF Coimbatore ACME Round Table 133 inaugurated the two newly built Classroom block at Panchayat Middle School in Thimmampalayam in Karamadai in Coimbatore. The two new Classroom blocks worth Rs.16 Lakhs were inaugurated by guests from Round Table and Ladies Circle, Coimbatore.

As the majority of the children studying in the school are kids of farmers and less previliged people, this new classrooms will benefit at least 100 of such students.
The teachers, staff, and students at Panchayat Union Middle School, Thimmampalayam, Karamadai appreciated the efforts of Round Table of India providing such a huge facility to the school.

Earlier on the inaugural of RTI week celebration, Chairmen of the 8 Tables of Coimbatore and other Area board members were present. At that time, RTI had mentioned that in connection with this celebration, it will offer these classrooms.

It also stated that 500 plus limbs worth Rs.20, 00,000 shall be distributed to the beneficiaries. Covid relief material worth 4.5 Lacs will be distributed by various tables across different cities in Area. Blood donation camp, Go green- tree planting and RTI week drawing competitions would be held in orphanages and child shelters across all districts.
