China resolutely opposes India’s ban on its mobile applications

The Embassy of China in New Delhi said on Wednesday that China resolutely opposes India’s measures to ban more Chinese mobile applications over national security concerns, its embassy in Delhi said on Wednesday.

The Indian Government blocked 43 mobile applications that are developed by China on Tuesday and stated that the action was taken based on the inputs regarding these apps for engaging in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.

The embassy further stated that China has “always required overseas Chinese companies to abide by international rules, operate in compliance with laws and regulations and conform to public order and good morals.”

Source stated Spokesperson of the embassy Ji Rong saying that China hoped India “provides a fair, impartial and non-discriminatory business environment for all market players from various countries including China, and rectify the discriminatory practices violating WTO rules.”
