Between November 12 and 14, PUBG Mobile India’s official Facebook profile posted multiple times that the PUBG Mobile game is coming back to entertain the India users once more.
On Diwali, the official website of Pubg Mobile India displayed a Diya with a PUBG game on its home screen with the words ‘Coming Soon’.
After the Indian Government banned PUBG mobile on September 2, 2020, over security reasons, the PUBG Corporation, which is the original developer of the PUBG game and based in South Korea has decided to take control of all operations of PUBG Mobile in India.
PUBG Corporation recently announced that it would launch a new game named PUBG Mobile India which is created specifically for the Indian market.
The company reportedly said that privacy and security of Indian players’ data are a top priority to them, and it would conduct regular audits and verifications on the storage systems holding Indian users’ personally identifiable information to reinforce security and ensure that their data is safely managed.
“To build and foster a healthy gameplay environment, in-game content will be improved and tailored to reflect local needs. Various aspects of the game will be customized for Indian gamers, such as the game now being set in a virtual simulation training ground, new characters automatically starting clothed, and green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game,” the company said in a statement.
While the exact launch date is yet to announced by the PUBG Corporation, it is 100% sure that the most played mobile game is going to be back in action.
