KASC’s International Seminar explores the multiple dimensions of Topology

The PG and Research Department of Mathematics of Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC) organized an International Virtual Seminar on Topology and its Applications on Tuesday and Wednesday through Google Meet.

The college’s Secretary and Director C. A. Vasuki, Secretary and Director of the College in her presidential address said that the collaborative research work by the researchers from several parts of the world is not only helping the respective nation’s progress but it also helps to meet the emerging challenges globally.

Saeid Jafari, Mathematical and Physical Science Foundation, Denmark delivered the Inaugural Address in which he gave an overview of Topology.

He also delivered his special lecture on the topic ‘Ideal Topological Groups’. In his lecture, he discussed various properties of Ideal Topological Groups.

Parimala, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu, India, delivered her lecture on the topic ‘Neutrosophic Topology and its Applications’.

During her presentation, she explained all the basic concepts of Neutrosophic topology which is currently an emerging field in the Research arena.

Hakeem A. Othman, Associate Professor University College of Alqunfudah, Umm Alqura University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered his lecture on the topic ‘New Nano Operator for a New Nano Topology’. In his lecture he briefed the several notations of Nano Topology and the operators that can be applied.

S. Benchalli, Professor (Retd.), Department of Mathematics, Karnatak University, Dharwad, Karnataka delivered his special address on the topic ‘Recent Trends in Topology’.

In his presentation, he gave a vivid picture about the recent developments in the field of various topology

More than 200 participants attended this International Virtual Seminar through Google Meet and YouTube link and got benefitted.
