Trends would be connecting with consumers of Tamil Nadu, during the auspicious Navarathri GOLU festival, through an interesting “Selfie with Golu Contest”. The contest invites entries from the women of the household, to share a selfie of themselves along with their “Golu Decoration”, done by them in their homes.
The selfie which is adjudged for the “Best Golu Decoration” will be awarded the Grand Prize– An Art Kanjeevaram Saree and every store of Trends in the small towns of Tamil Nadu, will have one potential first prize winner.
The announcement about the contest will be through Whatsapp communication to consumers as well as through Trends Leaflets that will reach consumers through door-to-door distribution.
Consumers would have to send in their entries to the same Whatsapp number from which they receive communication about the contest. The Leaflets distributed also would feature the Whatsapp number, to which consumers can send in their entries send their selfie with their Golu Decoration.
