SRCAS’ Ideathon welcomes innovative ideas from students

The Innovation Centre at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (SRCAS) is inviting college student-teams to participate in Ideathon 2020. This program is a 3-day online event where innovative young minds are challenged to come up with solutions to provided problem statements.

The event is set between Oct 27 and Oct 29, 2020, and it aims to mitigate uncertainties related to the Industry and People. It will begin with a workshop on the first day followed by the Pitch Deck Competition.

In the event, the participants have to conceptualise and storyboard the ‘IDEA’ and submit a presentation virtually through Google Meet. A team of technical experts from SRCAS will act as jury to select the winning idea of the Ideathon. Winners of the Ideathon 2020 will be trained for the Boot Camps.

“The Ideathon 2020 is a step towards creating an environment conducive to generating new ideas, innovation and breakthroughs for equality in education,” Dr.B.L. Shivakumar, Principal & Secretary, SRCAS said.

The participants are required to create at least 10 slides to present the problem statement, vision for improved learning outcome and a description of the desired virtual environment that they want to create or simulate. To participate in the Ideathon 2020 students are asked to visit http://srcasic.github.io for Problem statements and Registration.
