Conducting NEET & JEE during pandemic deeply unfair – Greta Thunberg

Renowned Environmental activist Greta Thunberg spoke in support of the Indians calling for postponing NEET and JEE 2020. She posted a tweet from her official account on Tuesday that that stated that it’s deeply unfair that students of India are asked to sit national exams during the Covid-19 pandemic and while millions have also been impacted by the extreme floods. I stand with their call to postpone JEE and NEET.

Greta has always been vocal about her views and when the teen activist speaks, the world listens. The tweet is getting viral, receiving 23,000 likes and counting on Twitter. She earlier made the news for returning to school after a year of climate activism.

Many politicians in India- West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Lawyer and BJP member, DMK President M.K.Stalin have called for the postponement of NEET and JEE.  JEE Main 2020 will be held between September 1-6 and NEET will be held on September 13, 2020.
