Coimbatore based NGO Thenkoodu donates Rs. 2.5 lakhs worth of face masks to Coimbatore City Police recently. A press release said that the received mask will be distributed to all the police station limits.
Manivanna Prabhu , MD, Sunderavadivelu, Advocate and Director, Thenkoodu and Justice N.Balachander, Chairman, Coimbatore District Consumer Forum handed over the Masks to the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan.
The press-release stated that this NGO has been doing a lot of social cause activities during this COVID-19 crisis namely providing hand sanitisers, face mask, to all the poverty line people and educating them how to be safe and away from the threat of novel coronavirus.
