During a 10-day online faculty bootcamp for government and govt-aided Maths teachers, application of various Maths topics from +1 and +2 syllabi were handled by experts. The bootcamp was from June 22 to July 4th ,and State School Education Minister K. A. Sengottaiyan inaugurated it.
Resource persons from IIIT-Allahabad, Washington University, IISc Bangalore, E-Box Colleges etc exposed the teachers to the Applications of Algebra, Complex Numbers and Theory of Equations, Trigonometry, 2D Analytical Geometry, Vector Algebra, Combinatorics, Mathematical Induction, Sequences and Series, Ordinary Differential Equations, Calculus and Probability Theory.
This program was organized by Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu, in association with EBox. Every day the bootcamp started with a two-hour live session by various experts and researchers from Universities across the Globe. Practice sessions were conducted thereafter for about 6 to 8 hours and the day would end with sessions on practice exercises.
One of the highlight was that 1500 teachers solved more than 750 real-time problems. Totally 3650 PG teachers registered for the bootcamp. More than 2500+ learners were active.
