Several sources have claimed that Chief Minister of Tamil Nadi Edappadi Palaniswami had said on Monday that Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Chengalpet will go under complete lockdown from June 19 to 30.
Grocery stores, Hotels (take-ways only) and other essential shops will function daily but only during a specified time duration. To limit the public-gathering effectively during this lockdown, essential shops will be allowed to function only between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
