Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial (RCC Centennial) donated 25 mattresses and pillows to Coimbatore ESI Hospital on Saturday. V.C.Arukutty, MLA- Kavundampalayam Constituency was the Chief Guest of this event. Rtn. Robinson, President, RCC Centennial presided. The 25 mattresses and pillows were handed over to A.Nirmala, Dean, ESI Hospital.
These beds are built for long-time use, washable, anti-bacterial, strain-resistance and fluid-proof. They were donated under COVID-19 Rotary Disaster Response Grant. Club members said that they find this a proud moment to have served the needy. Rotarians – Gopi, Ranganathan, Muthiah and other club members took part in delivering these donated materials. Rotarians Nelson, Choudhry, Rajaram, Murugan and Varadharajan played an appreciable role in this donation.
