Sri Krishna College and Govt Officials discuss possible solutions to bring down COVID 19

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, as an Institution, along with Principal Dr.J.Janet, Heads of various departments, faculty members, parents and students, actively took part in an exclusionary interactive session with the government officials of Tamil Nadu regarding Combating Covid -19.

The interactive session was attended by W.Suthakaran , Block Development Officer (BP), K.Ravi, Deputy Block Development Officer (Admin), S.Ananthi, Deputy Block Development Officer(pt), C.Mariammal, Deputy Block Development Officer (zonal ), Rajasekar, Block Health Inspector through online live web conference to analyse the scenarios of the spread and measures to bring down the outbreak of COVID-19.

Block Development Officer,W.Suthakaran discussed the need for a clear understanding on the need of the hour. Health inspector Rajasekar elaborated the initiatives taken by the government on Covid-19.

He clearly explained the successful solutions such as for population screening, tracking the infection, prioritising the use and allocation of resources, and designing targeted responses.

He also shared few testimonials and real life incidences and divulged the extreme importance required to create awareness among the public.

Rajasekar detailed the roles and responsibilities of the public in making the curve flat and importuned the importance on emotional and psychological counseling for the patients and also the general public.

He shared the details on, how it spreads and survives and the pro-bono technical support needed to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The Post pandemic  activity action plan to avoid the second cycle breakdown and normal life and the changes required in our regular lifecycle was lucidly discussed.

The various technology developed by the students and faculty of SKCET to assist and asses the combating Covid -19 was showcased. The parents and students actively participated in the interactive session.

As a response to this meeting, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology has promised to take necessary action  and possible assistance that would help in bringing down the numbers of COVID-19 cases.
