Covid-19 now has affected more than 7 lakh people on a global level. This includes 6,63,325 confirmed cases, 1,39,414 recovered cases and 30,791 deceased cases across the world. USA has 1,24,108 confirmed cases with 2165 deaths so far. USA is the country with the highest confirmed cases as of now.
Aljazeera stated that Italy had reported 756 new deaths due to Covid-19 on Sunday. The total number of deceased in Italy is at 10,779, the highest for a country so far. Spain announced 838 new deaths to Coronavirus. The total death count is 6,528. UK has lost 1000+ people to the virus so far.
India had 1024 Covid-19 cases as on Sunday (29.3.2020) according to the Union Ministry of Health. This includes 901 active cases , 96 cured cases and 27 deceased cases. 106 new cases were found to have risen in the 24 hour period till Sunday and 8 people died within that period to take the death count to what it is now- 27. Tamil Nadu as of 29.3.2020 (Sunday) had 42 Covid-19 positive cases.
