The Central Reserve Police Force personnel have given their one day salary to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund so that it could be used for the benefit of helping covid-19 patients and other reliefs. The amount totals to Rs.Thirty Three Crore and Eighty One Lakhs (Rs.33,81,00,000)
A statement from the CRPF said that “it is submitted that CRPF personnel have decided to make a humble contribution of one day salary to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. We are dutifully committed to stand firmly with our Nation in this challenging time of Covid-19 spread”
They added “It is a unanimous decision and a sincere effort by our personnel .The effort was to mae the immediate contribution with the noble intent to keep it unrevealed. The CRPF remains stradfast towards its motto of service and loyalty”
