District Collector K.Rajamani announced on Saturday that the Tamil Nadu Government has chosen 4 private Multi Specialty Hospitals- KMCH, PSG Hospitals, Abhinand Hospital and Royal Care Hospital to set up a 50 Bed Isolation Facility to treat patients with symptoms of COVID-19. The 4 hospitals have been given permission to admit and treat patients but CMCH -Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital will be The authorized testing centre, reported Times of India.
Earlier today (22.3.2020), it was reported that a Covai woman who returned from Spain a week ago was tested positive with COVID-19 in GH. She is kept in isolation in ESI Hospital.
