Transformation of Bioscience Research discussed at Dr.NGP Arts

Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College conducted a National Conference on “Futuristic  Approaches in Transformation of Bioscience Research” organized by the Department of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Science and Nutrition  and Clinical Lab Technology recently.

Prof. Dr. T. I. Pandian, Former National Professor, Madurai Kamaraj University inaugurated the occasion with lighting the lamp. Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College presided over the function.

The key note speakers were Dr. M. Periasamy, University of Hyderabad; Dr .R. Viswanathan, Sugarcane Breeding Institute (ICAR), Coimbatore; Dr. E. M. Shankar, Central University, Tamil Nadu; Dr. A.M. Sivasamy, ARS-FISGPB, FSAWBAR, Principal Scientist & Head, ICAR-Indian Agricultural  Research Institute, Regional Station, Wellington, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu; Dr. S. Haripriya, Associate Professor of Food Science Technology, School of Life Sciences, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry; Prof. Dr. Sanjay K. Singh, Coordinator, National Fungal Culture, Collection of India, Agharkar Research Institute, Mycology and Plant Pathology Group, Pune; Prof. Dr. Joseph Selvin, Professor and Coordinator of Microbiology, School of Life Sciences, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry; Dr. Uma V Manjappara.

They gave an influential, detailed speech and informative message. It urged to create awareness among the upcoming student community and researchers by showcasing the potential of innovative trends. Around 52 participants from 12 colleges participated and presented papers. Overall the National Conference was a grand success.
