PG and Research Department of Social Work, coordinated with Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission, Collectorate, Coimbatore and facilitated the women of Self Help groups to display their products for sale on the 5 th and 6 th of March 2020 (Thursday & Friday) at Hindusthan College of Arts & Science Open Auditorium.
Family Care- a NGO also brought in their Self-help women who marketed their products. Dr. A. Ponnusamy, Principal of Hindusthan college of Arts & Science inaugurated the event. Muthu, Asst. Project Officer,
Rural Livelihood mission, Collectorate, Coimbatore, Dr. M. Punitha, Head, Dept. of Social Work and Dr. Renu of Family Care were present during the inaugural. This event created awareness among the college students to encourage women entrepreneurs.
