The Department of BBA (CA) of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science organized a National Level Seminar on “Embracing Change and Transformation in the Business Environment” recently. Around 150 students from various colleges of Coimbatore took part in the Seminar and around 30 students presented papers on different Seminar themes. Dr. R. Sabitha, HOD, Department of BBA (CA), HICAS welcomed the gathering.
R.K.Anil Kumar, CEO & Co-founder, mypromovideos delivered the Inaugural address.The technical session-I was on the topic “Entrepreneurship and social Innovation” It was handled by Sanuja John, Managing Director- Sanu’z Group of Salons. She spoke on startups, the opportunities and challenges faced by start ups in the current Business Environment. She also highlighted the vast resources available for budding entrepreneurs.
The technical session- II was on the topic “Sustainability in the business environment”. N.Vanitha Sanjay, Managing Partner- a Spicy Treat, Coimbatore was the resource person. She spoke on the various changes taking place in the Business environment and the innovative strategies that will help us in sustainability. The best papers presented were awarded certificates of appreciation and cash prizes.
