The ICC Co-Ordinator of Rathinam College of Arts and Science Dr. T. M. Hemalatha, organized an awareness program entitled “Harassment against Women”. The chief guest was Latha Sundaram, “Founder and Managing Trustee of Aram Foundation”.
She began her discourse on the abuses against women that any unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature is harassment. She also emphasized on women’s dignity. She shared her anecdotes of her own career spanning over years. She mentioned about her experience of handling various situations of women victims. 
The female students were enlightened by her speech and voiced out the consequences faced by them. The students and the faculty members participated actively in the discussion and appreciated the opportunity provided to them. They were provided with mail id of ICC and contact numbers of the members for easy access to the committee.
