Coimbatore’s Karnataka Association conducted the finals of the 12th Edition of Smt. Anasuya Srinivas Memorial Purandara Dasara Krithi Music Competition on 05.01.2020. The focus of this event is to propagate the out-pouring of the musical Saint- Purandara Dasara. It was held in the association’s premises. Around 150+ participants belonging to three different age groups competed in one of the two categories –Individual and Team.
The participants were aged between 8 to 25 years and they sung classical songs and were judged by Umashankarai, Carnatic Music Exponent, Udupi and by judges Sudha Ragu, Uma Mahewsari and Yagna Raman. Cash Prizes and certificates were given to the winners.
