Confederation of Indian Industry- Coimbatore Zone conducted PUMOCON- a conference on Pumps, Motors& System on 08.11.2019. It was attended by the stakeholders of the said industry. Three Technical Sessions were held in this conference.
In Technical Session 1, Werner Huck, Expert- Carbon Graphite Tribological Systems& Applications and Dr.Thomas Trendelenburg, Krishnaveni Carbon Product Pvt Ltd spoke on ‘Carbon Graphite in Tribological System’ and Dr. N.G.Nanadikar, Partner, Ferrites India spoke on ‘Testing of Electrical Steel and Efficiency of Pumps/Motors.’
In Technical Session 2, Dr.D.N.Badokar, RRF,DAE Ex-Diretor, RDDG Bhabha Atomic Research Center spoke on ‘Special Electrical Motors and Drives’ and V.Krishnamoorthy, Director, SEJA Sinters Pvt Ltd spoke on ‘Design Opportunities for Energy Efficient Induction Motor Design’
In Technical Session 3, Ryoichi Hikita, MD, Tsurumi, Singapore spoke on Mining & Flood Control Pumps, Ravindra S.Birajdar, VP, Corporate Research & Engg Devlopment, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd spoke on ‘Minimum Efficiency Index of Centrifugal Pumps’ and Dr.R.Raja Singh, Asso.Prof., Dept of Energy and Power Electronics, VIT spoke on ‘Advanced Variabl Speed Pump Drive Technologies’.
