Chandran’s Yuva Foundation cares for Tribal Community in Annaikatti

In a bid to encourage people from tribal communities to get their health checked for any underlying medical conditions, hundreds of people attended a Health Awareness and  Check-Up Camp organized by Chandran’s Yuva Foundation in Annaikatti at Coimbatore, recently.

According to the press release from Chandran’s Yuva Foundation, Coimbatore, it was mentioned that about 250 persons from Dhumanur and Sembukkarai tribal settlements took part in the free medical camp. The camp had free medicine and cloth distribution, conveyed about health care and women hygiene.

A team comprising a total of 30 volunteers including four special Doctors was involved in the free medical camp. The General Physician, Diabetic, Dental specialist were present and performed checkups for all the tribal people.

The team distributed stationery kits like note books, pencils, etc. to the tribal settlement school going children. The team also distributed clothes for children, men, women & senior citizens.

C Sivanesan, Founder and Managing Trustee and S Shasikala, Chairperson and CEO of Chandran’s Yuva foundation, Coimbatore led this free medical camp with all possibilitie. The school kids’ stationery which was distributed to the tribal school kids was sponsored by SSVM Institutions.
