CWA makes ‘Vidyarambham’ available for all

Coimbatore Welfare Association (CWA), the parent organization of Shri Nehru Vidyalaya line of schools and colleges announced on 12.10.2019 via a press meet that it is welcoming children who are beginning their educational life to come along with their parents to take part in ‘Vidyarambham’ – the Hindu traditional way of initiating a child towards education practiced in India for ages.

Vidyarambham began on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami this year (8.10.2019) and it goes on upto Diwali.  “This is the first year we are making Vidhyarambham available for all. Anyone from Covai and neighboring cities who are beginning their education are welcome. We have priests to perform Pooja in the temple inside the school, which houses a unique Saraswathi Marble statue.  The wonderful initiation process is scheduled to happen on auspicious days so that the students get knowledge & Wisdom”, said Ramesh Bafna, President, Coimbatore Welfare Association.

Even kids who have not performed this program but began their studies can take part, it was reported.
