Coimbatore based software development company SIERRA ODC’s eFACiLiTY Building has won the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) organized “IGBC Performance Challenge 2019 for Green Buildings – Excellence Award” under the IT/ITES category. This is national-level recognition for green-rated buildings based on their two-years of post-certification performance data.
SIERRA also recently won the National Award for Climate Action Program – CAP 2.0° at the Climate Leadership Conference, which is “A national program to recognize climate action by industries using a three-dimensional assessment methodology that aims to raise the bar on climate action”. SIERRA was one of the 6 organizations awarded along with the Delhi International Airport Limited, ACC Limited, Dalmia Bharat Limited, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited and Kings International Limited.
There are more than 1500 green building projects in the country which are up & running and today India stands tall amongst countries that have embraced sustainability.
