Cbe records 37% of cyber-attacks in tier 2 markets- K7 Cybersecurity

India is seen as one of the most vulnerable countries in terms of Cyber Security attacks across various sectors. According to Cyber Threat Monitor, a report by K7 Computing in the previous quarter, Q1, Coimbatore has recorded 37% of cyber-attacks amongst various other cities in Tier 2 markets. With increase of cyber security attacks in the city, K7 Computing, a company based out of Tamil Nadu Company has initiated K7 Cybersecurity Awareness Program that will create awareness about the importance of cyber security amongst management of across various colleges.

K7 Computing has initiated this first-of-its-kind educational program under its training business unit K7 Academy. The guest of honor for the event was C.Chandrasekar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime Central, Coimbatore City who shared insights with over 40 professors from various colleges and educational institutes in Coimbatore to highlight the growing cyber security trends and share insights about the threat landscape.
