On Account of International Programmers day on 13th September 2019, School of Computing with Programming Club, i2i Club, Innovation Club and CSI, organized SRCASTekProg-2019 (Hackathon’ 2019) in association with eBOX at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science. This 24 hrs event started at 13th Sept 2019, 8.00 AM and will end at 14th Sept 2019, 8.00 AM.
To motivate the young aspirant minds in coding, the contest strategizes and innovate some ingenious solutions to the most sought out real life problem statements. Participants can provide solution in any of the programming languages like C / C++ /Java /Python to prove their skills. There were 101 participants from various Arts and Science Colleges in and around Coimbatore.
The Programme was presided by Dr. K Karunakaran, Principal and Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science. In his address he urged the young minds to grow to find solution digitally in all walks of life.
The programme was inaugurated by Punitha, Co- founder Amphisoft Technologies, Coimbatore. In her address she brought out the importance of programming in solving real world problems. The special Guest of the occasion was Mr. Vishal Venkatesan, Founder, Book My Hairstylist. Dr Anna Saro Vijendran, Dean School of Computing welcomed and motivated the young minds.
