PG and Research Department of Social Work along with National Service Scheme and Youth Red Cross of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, Nava India, Coimbatore, commemorated International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer on the 16 September 2019.
A rally was organized from the main gate of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science which went through the residential areas of Meena Estate and ended at the Back gate of the College Principal, Dr. A. Ponnusamy addressed the gathering assembled for the rally and highlighted the importance of protecting the Ozone layer and motivated the students to take responsibility in global cooling.
The students participated in the rally with enthusiasm and held placards displaying information to protect ozone and it was viewed by the residents of Meena Estate.The rally ended at the main auditorium of the College and the HOD Dr. Punitha of Social Work Dept, thanked the students for their cooperation and participation in making the rally a success.
