The Covai Mail spoke to Mr.Rajiv Ramaswamy, Secretary, CREDAI Coimbatore earlier during a press meet held on 11.9.19. Talking about the securities this fair offers to buyers, he said one of the reasons why RERA has come into existence is because in some commercials, the actual product that is sold is different from the ones that were advertised to the customers.

The key aspect in RERA Certification is the product should precisely be what we say it would be. We at CREDAI have always stood by the concept of delivering what we say. All the products in CREDAI are RERA certified.

RERA oversees how the money a builder got as an advance payment from a customer is spent on developing that property in its every stage. So all the projects enlisted in this fair pro give an unmatched security to the money they spend. Rajiv said that customers from middle-class segment who account to 20% of the entire visitors in last year’s fair  preferred properties like houses and villas under INR 30 Lacs.

So in this fair there are apartments that start at INR 8 lacs. Approximately 10,000 apartments of various stages (completed, under construction or now launching) are available.  He said CREDAI Cbe expects business between INR 150 to 175 crore to take place.
