Carmel Garden Matriculation Higher Secondary School organized Teacher’s Day Celebration on 5.8.2019. Dr. P.Krishna Kumar, CEO&Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions, TN & Kerala participated as the Chief Guest. Rev.Fr.A. Paul Raj,Principal, Carmel Garden graced the occasion, Ravi Thiyagarajan of Thiyagarajan Hospital participated as the Special Guest and Muralitharan, Director,NGI joined as the Guest of Honor. The teachers of the school took part as the guests.
In his address, Dr.P.Krishna Kumar said that for any human to become a successful individual, he/she needs teachers. Narrating how his teachers sowed positivity in his character, he emphasized the students to have a positive approach and remain self-confident.
He wanted the students to observe their parents’ hardship and not ask for things that give pleasure and focus on becoming a person of positivity. He said “When you start to believe that you are the best, you can start to achieve”. He advised them to feel confident enough to overcome their obstacles.
Fr.Paulraj said “A teacher enters the heart and mind of students and illuminates them”. He wanted all the students to keep in mind of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and aspire to realize his dreams.
The best students were awarded with the prize and certificates by the Chief Guest and the dignitaries.
