A Two day intensive training program on PFMS-EAT Module was conducted recently by Ministry of Finance – PFMS Training division in association with Kongunadu Arts & Science College, Coimbatore, KASC.
Dr.C.A.Vasuki , Secretary & Director of KASC welcomed the National Digital Payment Mission in her inauguration address. Dr. V. Chinnusamy, CEO, KASC delivered presidential address and stated the importance of DBT mode benefit to the individual and Institutions.
Francis, Senior account officer , PFMS Training division , Ministry of Finance –trained the academic Institutions members in various aspects of PFMS –EAT (Expenditure Advance Transfer) Module. It includes user creation, adding the account, approval of program division, expenditure posting, print payment advice generation, Advance , Transfer and Utilization certificate creation in four session.
Each participant was trained in individual PC, with their own intuitional account in live software. He explained the advantages of PFMS, and as per new regulation all funding from government to the academic institutions are monitored through PFMS only. All institutions should get trained in PFMS to receive further funding.
Dr. K. Saminathan, PFMS Coordinator explained what are the good practices followed in Kongunadu arts and Science Colleges to the effective implementation of PFMS-EAT module to the participants during his talk. Prof. P. Mehalingam, VHNSN College, Virudhunagar, Prof. A. Vijaya, Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore discussed the best practices to be followed in PFMS.
